What temperature to bake club steak in the oven? I'm putting the steak on a bed of onions with a steak sauce.
Also for how long it should become really soft.

Softest is low & slow. 8 hours on 225-250.
3 hours on 350, will also yield soft meat. Make sure it's covered very well.
