My husband and I were discussing this. I was wondering if I wash my sheitel too much. Also, does it ruin your sheitel if you wash it too often.

Not early enough (2x a year) but my Shaitel macher isn’t close by and I have tj stay in that area all day for same day pickup and drop off. It costs 50$ maybe more. I wish I could do it more often

$50 every 6 weeks to 2 months. My old sheitels which had bangs and lots of layers I could go 3 months but now that the style is less cut it shows the wear faster.

Used to wash them myself, every 2 months.
But since I got a lace wig, I wont wash it myself, BUT my wig person told me we really overwash wigs, and theres nothing wrong with just restyling it without washing it, and some people only wash their wigs once or twice a year (she thought she heard dini wigs also saying once a year but she wasnt certain).
So, I decided to chill and bring it in not more than every 6 months.
I do wear a wig net underneath, so that absorbs some stuff I guess.

Every 2-3 months, sometimes even longer. $50 each. I end up bringing all 4 of my wigs at once basically, so it’s $200 each time
My good expensive wigs like BK and dini really need less often, my cheap Eva and Chloe’s need more often

I wash my work sheital that I wear Sunday through Friday once every four weeks; my Shabbos sheital I usually wash for YT and whenever I have a family wedding; probably 4-6 times a year...
does it ruin a sheital to wash more often?

$30 or $50 depending on who I use, 3-4 times a year. Generally Pesach, Rosh Hashana and a simcha somewhere in between. That's 1 sheitel and the other maybe twice a year depends on if I actually wear it.

$60 one sheitel every 4-5 weeks. That means that each wig gets washed once every 2 months or so.

About 3 or 4x per year. I don't wear a sheitel every day though. Times I do wear it everyday I wash it about every 2 months. Its free because I do it myself:)
