Teen son is on adhd medication. Works amazing until late afternoon. He still has many hours of yeshiva left in the day. Took alot of trial and error before finding one that didn't cause adverse side effects so nervous to switch. Will of course speak to dr but wondering if anyone has experience with this and knows of longer lasting medications or other ideas.

Sometimes you can take a lower dose in middle of the day to keep him going

Speak to the doctor sometimes they can top him up with another small dose.
Or he can try coffee, some people find it extends the effectiveness at the end of the day.
