I ordered a wig from someone and I asked for a specific color and she sent me a wig the color I asked for but with lighter highlights. I told her I didn’t ask for highlights and she told me that this is the only thing she had in stock and that the base is my color and she will use a toner to remove the highlights. She is saying all wigs in the price range that I bought it for are dyed anyway. Will the toner really remove the highlights and will it fade over time or is it permanent? Is it a bad idea to buy a wig that a toner was used on it to remove highlights? Please advise.

AFAIK toner washes out.
