I told my kids I’d make them overnight kugel for yt. Im too exhausted to make a kugel now.. what’s the minimum amount of hours I would need to make it tomorrow and achieve that overnight taste? I’ll need the oven for other stuff on a higher temp so looking for shortest amount of timeZz is this doable? Or do I disappoint them and just stick to making regular kugel? Pushing myself now isn’t an option I’m postpartum and cannot push myself one more drop now.

I saw a recipe in one of the cookbooks for overnight kugel in 3 hours or something like that. I tasted it by someone and it was amazing, I don’t remember the cookbook or have the recipe but maybe someone else does?

I don't know what the minimum amount of hours are. I usually keep my kugel in the oven from before Shabbos till the day meal. I think there's a way to do it in the crock pot if that's a better option for you.

Bake it for one hour uncovered on 500, then add some water.to the pan cover it then bake it on 350 for as long as you want. The longer you bake it the more "overnight" it'll be. I do this method every week.

Cover it with 2 layers of foil to retain moisture
