Its supposed to snow Friday afternoon in the tristate area. If youre going away for Shabbos, either leave early or dont go. We dont want to read in next weeks paper all the people who got delayed or stuck and spent shabos in a hotel. And then Friday night and Shabbos will be frigid, so make sure your heat is on and you have warm coats, etc. May Hashem keep up all safe.

That is probably too late. It will probably have been snowing for several hours already at that point. Either leave tonight, or be ready leave as soon as it starts in the morning. IMO

I would leave early in the morning. 12 is too late for a 2 hour drive which will be way longer in this weather.

I guess make sure you have everything you need for shabbos if you get stuck in a hotel on the highway for shabbos and be prepared to pull off wherever you are at 3:30. Good luck.
