How much did you pay to rent a bungalow for 2 weeks? Or 4 weeks?

How much did you pay to rent a house for 2 weeks? Or 4 weeks?

6 -8 beds

How much is day camp in the Catskills?

Any other associated costs I should be aware of?

Were you happy with your experience? Anything else to be aware of?

Thank you so much in advance!

Most bungalow colonies would not rent you a bungalow for 2 weeks. Sometimes private people would rent the bungalow for the summer and sublease for a half summer or 1-2 weeks. The price depends on the colony and the condition for the unit you’re renting, ranging 1000 -1500+ per week.

Daycamp is 500-600 for the summer 100-120 per week

Thank you so much for this!

Day camp is 800 per child for 8 weeks?

2500 per week is for a nicer house? A cheaper simpler house/bungalow would be less?

We paid $3000 for four weeks in a two bedroom (four beds). Daycamp would've been like $900 for a month, but it's a more in demand daycamp than others. Add tips, In addition.

Wow, that’s a bargain compared to what ppl in my community payto go to Deal for the summer.
We can’t afford to go, we just stay in Brooklyn.
In DEAL a 3 bedroom house with pool is $68,000, rent for 8 weeks. I’m not sure how much day camp but I’m sure it’s super expensive.
The same home in September - May is $4200, a month. They rent it to college students.

I think there is a real range. I pay about 12K for my bungalow for the summer. My colony doesn't have a day camp on grounds, I send to off grounds, about $1500 per kid for the summer.
Houses in the newer "developments" will run minimum 15K for the summer.
Unfortunately, as more and more colonies are closing down and being sold to mosdos,, it becomes harder and harder to find the less expensive bungalows....
