Just off the bat, we're not the type that believes in health benefits of raw milk, that's not our thing, we feed our kids pasteurized milk and dairy products, that's not what this is about. I'm asking because I am a big cheese lover and one of the little ways I sometimes treat myself is with fancy cheese, some of which are made with raw milk because that's a thing with some high end cheeses. I was enjoying a bit of raw milk cheddar today when my 8 year old asked for a taste and I wasn't sure if I should. Google wasn't helpful, just got a lot about the whole raw milk argument. I feel silly to call my pediatrician for this and will probably forget to ask next time I happen to be bring a kid in. So for a bit of crowd sourcing, if you enjoy raw milk cheese, at what age would you let a child try it?

Yes. But it does go through some processing when used in cheese. Still, I never eat raw milk cheese while pregnant.

my babies drink raw milk when I wean from nursing.
of course your 8 year old can have it.
