I searched before posting, but I didn’t find anything. Has anyone been to Savannah in the summer? Is it super humid? Also is there any kosher food available? And if we rented an airbnb, are there certain areas that should be avoided?

We had a great time there, although not in the summer. We were able to order food through the shul. There's a caterer who cooks in the shul's kitchen under the Rabbi's hashgacha. The food was quite good, and portions were very generous. The neighborhood was near some sort of military facility and felt quite safe.

I guess I should have clarified- I meant in terms of shopping. We don’t need cy, so dairy won’t really be a problem. We will be able to get things like bread, cereal, fruits and vegetables….but will we need to bring our own meat? My kids probably wouldn’t eat the catered food anyway.

There is a supermarket with meat. They also have frozen meals in the supermarket. The shuls challah was really good. I wish I ordered more. |
Thank you!
