Can some explain the difference in each type of manicure, how long it stays on etc.

I know there is a regular manicure, weekly, gel- are there any other?

TIA!

Gel is a kind of polish that goes on over natural nails, but it's stronger and lasts longer than reg polish. Less damaging to your nails than acrylics/fake nails

For acrylics they mix a kind of powder to create a new hard layer over your natural nails, and they can also use it to create length, and then paint that material with whatever kind of polish you want. They have to be filed off to remove completely.

regular mani chips very easily- I haven't found it to last more than 3 days
Weekly polish costs another couple of dollars, but should last a week

Gel lasts longer but uses uv rays which some say is not healthy.
Personally it feels like my nail beds r burning off.
Needs to be taken off properly or in salon bec peeling it will remove a layer of your nails

Dip powder is my favorite. Basically they dip the nails in a powder and then coat it w/ a clear top coat.
Lasts forever on me. Still need salon to take off in the healthiest way.

Thank you

I find that the weekly last a few days- was wondering if it was worth it more than the regular one.

Weekly is just a stronger formula regular nail polish. I don’t see it lasts any longer than regular

I love dip powder but taking it off even at the salon really ruins my nails.

Is there something that lasts but you can take off by yourself?
