I have united healthcare insurance from my employer and they just took Mt Sinai hospital and all the doctors out of network.
I'm freaking out. I really need to be able to access mt sinai
I don't want to switch jobs...I like my job
Is anyone else affected by this?

Yes. Dh has a medical issue that's being monitored by a dr. He chose that Dr because he is the best, if surgery is needed.
Unfortunately that dr is only affiliated with Mt Sinai. We are trying not to panic.

We’re seeing a doctor at Mt Sinai and in the middle of a protocol that can’t be transferred. They claim insurance will continue to pay because of our specific circumstances but I’m quite nervous about it and about what our follow up care will look like once the actual treatment is over.

I think anyone who is currently pregnant will be covered until they give birth

Did it take effect?
Is it United Healthcare with Medicaid or Oxford commercial plans as well?
I was getting emails from Oxford about this a few months back, it kept saying this are still in the negotiating process.
My OB was with Mt. Sinai, I'd like to be pregnant but I was thinking of switching practices. I did want to have them as a back up.
