Did anyone cut their sons hair for an upsherin at a non Jewish barber in the lakewood area? If yes, where did you go and how was your experience ?

Why would you want non Jewish? There are so many Jewish barbers that are good.

Yup! We’re talking over $100 vs $20 for a haircut…

It usually cost more money when the barber has to come to you. If you go to them, I would assume it cost less money.

Even in the barbershop, an upsherin costs way more. I think I remember paying around $80 at SnipIt last year. Assuming the prices have gone up since…

Over $100 is only when you have them come to you
I bring all my upsherin kids to the barber and I’m very happy for them to go to someone experienced in upsherin boys
Or learn to cut hair, it’s not that hard
