I have a newborn and we wanted to do a family Sesame Street theme. It’ll be me, DH and our newborn. I’ll need a costume that can somehow be made tznius. And a costume that comes in newborn sizing.
DH is most flexible since anything works
Can anyone help me assign characters and find costumes?

You can be Oscar the grouch- trash can is not pants
Baby can be cookie monster- you can put something like "more milk please!" one onsie

That’s such a good idea to do Oscar the grouch for me! I was wracking my brain trying to figure out what would work.

lol never mind. DH and I decided we really like Oscar the grouch for our very cranky baby since it’s more appropriate
Maybe I’ll do Cookie Monster with a skirt

I did Abby cadabi inspired costume. I got a black sweatshirt on Amazon that says “Sesame Street” a hot pink tutu I wore over a black skirt, and an Abby cadabi headband…

If your dh is tall he can be big bird
A tutu skirt over a regular one is a great idea, and then you can easily pair it with a matching t shirt and a headband
