Working on a budget. DH is in school and I work part time. Bh have support from parents and savings.
Bh have a beautiful 6month baby who’s growing fast. Smile I can easily find cute clothes for everyday at an affordable price. But can’t rationalize spending $40 for a shabbos stretchie that she’ll wear twice and then outgrow.
Any suggestions on budget friendly baby shopping?

Honestly I stopped bothering with stretchies around that age. Target and H and M have adorable ribbed or waffled two piece sets.

These are so cute.

And in the summer the short ones are adorable. Or you can do rompers.

This is gorgeous for Shabbos

I love bodysuits and leggings at that age. Great for crawling and for diaper changes. H&M has adorable shabbosdig long and short sleeve bodysuits. You can pair them with any solid color legging and viola.

Also skipped strechies at that point

But I do occasionally see them on sale at Macy's or Nordstrom rack at about 16-20/strechie

Maniere brand is frequently there, sometimes pouf too

You can also check the maniere website, they have very decent sales at times

Thank you everyone for the recommendations! Haven’t tried H&M yet.
Will definitely try to find more sets. Definitely easier for diaper changes and she loves being able to get to her toes too 😂

Just beware, H and M runs huge. You need to size down once from Target/ Carter's sizing, and twice from most Jewish brand sizing

You are paying for the cute fit and nice cotton. It’s hard to find elsewhere.

What I do is size up. Because of the fitted style and stretchy fabric it’s possible. Get a size 12m it should fit through the summer. Or just buy less.

Thank you! Will probably get one or two nice ones in a 12m to get us to summer.

I buy the fitted lil legs and size up because they're fitted, u can size up and doesn't hang off. And as they grow it stretches with them.
For pajamas I do the old navy or carters. Also I start outfits about that age. Cute sweatshirt and leggings fr9m target is barely 12 dollars combined.
But for shabbos, you need one nicer stretchy as a robe but by summer he'll be old enough to dress by day.

Grayson collective on Target. Carters has an organic line. Saw some cute boy stuff from Old Navy show up on ads. Saw some cute girl stuff in H and M.
