Did you buy a sous vide container? Which one is good? There are so many options. I really wanted one from Anova but they cost as much as the device.

No reason to buy a pricey container. Any cheap one (think storage) will do.

I know people who literally get a large plastic container from target. Don't know how sanitary that is, but the meat comes out great.

I've been using a pot and universal sous vide lid so the temperature stays even. Just trying to figure out if it will be easier for me with a container.
Do you all have vacuum sealers as well?

Maybe they do it the bootleg way, but they use a freezer bag 
Good meat + freezer bag + plastic container + sous vide + no lid = quite delicious
