We’ve been putting out a magazine for a certain group of kids for free that really need it and there’s nothing else for them. We’ve been paying for it all- writers, editors, artists… all. It’s really professional. We are only able to send it to their emails because we can’t afford to print and ship. As it is we are having a hard time paying for it all and are in so much debt.
Wondering if anyone knows how we can find sponsors for it and really make it into a big nice thing that these kids really need and deserve?

Talk to people IRL. Keep asking and networking. You can ask anyone you know with money, or speak to people who know other people with money. This type of project doesn't require enormous sums. So if you can find people who the cause speaks to them, and they can give you some of their master, that will probably cover for you.
Also, try to find professionals who will do the work for free. Like graphic artists or writers.

Reach out to marketing companies. They should know which businesses want to target your audience.

You advertise that you have ad space for purchase. Get people to pay for ads the kids might like. I just put out a small thing for my neighborhood and the paid ads covered the costs. It’s the way most do it. Or you can get sponsors and you list them on the back with their logo they might find that type of advertising worthwhile.

Thanks for your suggestions. Unfortunately we aren’t close with anyone with money and we also have a hard time speaking to people about money.
I’m not sure if ads will work because it’s not like thousands of people are seeing it and also the people that read it I’m assuming don’t have money to put one in
