I'm not sure but she may mean the clocks that have alarms that don't need to be turned off on Shabbos

Oh, ha, now I should post on the "feeling old" thread. That went totally over my head...

And yeah, Shabbos clocks (by the makers of the Shabbos lamps, etc) are the best!

(and speaking of Shabbos clocks, whichever the variety, make sure to change them [where applicable] to accommodate the recent time change.)

Haha no I didn't even know those exist.

I meant the timers you can use to control lights etc

I was by someone house and on her oven was a magnet that said this oven is Fleishigs.
She has one oven, and had another magnet that said this oven is Parave.
