When I had my walls repainted by Oahu Interior Painting, a company in my city, they sprayed an all-purpose cleaner and wiped it down with a microfiber cloth before applying the paint. The spray helped loosen up any dirt or grime. It's a surprisingly simple yet effective approach.

What cleaner do you use with the mop? Mr Clean? Plain water?
