My baby is 3 weeks old and the baby nurse who’s been helping us is about to leave. She keeps telling me how fussy the baby has been at night. We haven’t used the snoo yet for the baby. Will this help the baby sleep better?? Please tell me it works wonders..

The snoo is not good for your baby's development. It's basically a strait jacket. Longer sleeping times means less waking for food which a newborn is supposed to do, as much caloric intake actually happens during the night.

Will baby sleep better? Maybe.

All swaddling is basically like a straitjacket. And it's perfectly okay to try and get your baby to sleep longer stretches at night. Baby will make up for the caloric intake.

Personally my baby did not like the snoo but my sister's baby loved it. Try it and see.

It’s in your home already and you haven’t used it?

We tried it for a few naps but the baby has been sleeping w the nurse so I can recover from some complications.

Any other major Snoo fans that can tell me it worked wonders for them?

It did not work wonders for my child but did for my friend. I hope things feel manageable for you

My experience is that a hungry baby will not be soothed by it

Curious what your take is on regular swaddling...

I'd be more concerned about the high concentration of radiation (about the same as a wifi router right under baby's head)

Where did you read about radiation?? Is that your own concern or you heard it from a credible source?
