I have still been napping him twice, but is that too much? He falls asleep.
However I think they started only napping him once at day care. should I tell them to do twice or let it just be once?

my kid napped only once at 15 months, but it sometimes depends on how long the nap is. if it's short 45mins-1hr, they can use 2, if its 2.5-3 hrs, they just need one.

I think at 15 months they still get tired around 10:30-11. So if they nap then for 2-3 hours , that’s enough and then they can go to sleep for the night at 6:30.
Or you can do 10-11
And then 2-3
It just depends on them I think. 15 months - 2 is a harder age where they kind of still need more sleep but they like to be awake .

My son is the same age. Playgroup naps once 1-2 hours, so he's tired when we come home. I'd stretch him supper bath etc and then bedtime's abt 7pm
With 2 naps he was still jumping around at night

That’s around the time they go from 2 to 1 nap, exactly when they transition depends on the kid. Some would still do better with two naps and some would do better with one.

Most kids have transitioned to one mid day nap at that age.

My son transitioned to 1 nap around then.

But OP day care is likely only going to nap him once depending on your pickup time.

When my son napped twice, he napped around 11 and then again around 3:30/4 and that nap needed to be shortened greatly until it was dropped all together.
