Hey any recommendations for a neurologist in New Jersey
Having super frequent migraines would love to look into the shots for it
I’ve already changed bc and that didn’t help

I went to a neurologist in brick, rte 88, part of st Barnabas. I tried many preventive meds without any success!

I tried everyone around Lakewood. No one could help me. I see a top neurologist in Manhattan bH and am doing much better. Yes, I do Botox. If you’re willing to pay out of pocket and travel to Manhattan, I can tell you about a top neurologist.

Does Botox help? Where do u do it on the forehead ? What price range are we talking if it’s out of pocket

Botox helps a lot. It’s shots on the forehead, face, neck (back), upper back, and shoulders. It costs $950-$1000 each time, approximately every 12 weeks. My insurance covers the meds, some don’t and then that’s even more. The Botox Savings program can help offset some of the price. If you have Medicaid the Botox Savings Program won’t help you and it’s harder to get the Botox approved if you use a non-Medicaid doctor. People on Medicaid do struggle with these types of things and some end getting private insurance for that reason.

Was very happy with Dr Manmura from the Jefferson headache Center
Was in philli
Their whole team is amazing and really helps
And they just do headaches
Getting an appointment takes time for the first appointment.

That’s great that it worked for you as Philly is so much easier than Manhattan. But I saw Dr. Silverstein there and had a horrible experience.
