This might sound petty but I’m bothered by it. I send my toddler to a babysitter and she’s constantly losing her socks. She takes off her shoes for nap time and somehow her socks are forever getting lost. She has also lost bibs and bottles in the past but the socks bother me most. When I ask her about it she promises she’ll look for it but it usually never shows up. I know that socks are not the most expensive things but it’s annoying to have to keep replacing them. Talking to her doesn’t seem to help. Any ideas?

Ask her to put the socks inside the shoes during nap time. Or send her in sandals without socks.
