Saw this on a diff forum and wanted a Jewish spin of this.
If you can think of something that costs less today??
Phone plans- I remember rationing cell phone minutes to save conversations for after 7 pm when it was free.. sprint service..lol memories
So many cheap phone options these days..

Many manufactured goods ate cheaper now that its manufactured in China, especially electronics.
I remember a DVD cost $1000 when they first came out which is equivalent of $5000 today.
Cameras, calculators and handheld games like donkeykong were all expensive.
There are lots of inexpensive clothing and shoes today.
But housing, health care and college tuition are through the roof.

Not only are they cheaper, but they can hold way more!
I remember my first one was 1 GB for around $25

True points. I feel like the true necessities are so much more expensive

IVF was about $20,000/cycle 15 years ago. Now with inflation, the value of money has gone down, but it is still about $20,000/cycle, so a bit less expensive now even if the price is the same.

When my mother went to Israel for seminary in 1967, her plane ticket was around $1000. Approximately the same as it is now.
