At this age, once the baby is past their wake window it is IMPOSSIBLE to get them to sleep (in my experience)- they are so overstimulated and can't settle...
For the future- try to be VERY makpid on wake window- if its 45 min-60 mn...give a bath, feed, hold to relax and settle down for bed, even if baby doesnt seem so sleepy

there is a reason its called the witching hour- google it and you might have more ideas going forward

Yes agree with carrier. Wear your baby and he/she will sleep!!

5 weeks old is new. You’re all the comfort this baby needs!
