I have pesach books that get kept in the pesach kitchen from year to year. I'm thinking about doing the same with toys/games. Instead of cleaning our playroom we can sell it and have pesach ones that stay special because they only come out once a year.
Can you help me out together a small collection? Ill keep them in one container.
Assuming kids past age 12 aren't really playing with toys how about for ages 2-12.

I think the key is for them to be different than the toys you have for year round so they are more interesting. I’d try to go for one building toy (magnatiles, bristle blocks, megablocks, etc), one imagination / figurine type toy (mentchies, small animals, play mobile etc), and one vehicle toy (cars, trains, etc). Just find one set from each category that’s not something you already have.

My playroom is right off my kitchen, its a huge job to clean before pesach.

I bought my kids toys I'd never buy during the year because there are smaller pieces. I figured for 8 days we can handle putting them away again and again.
So far I have a huge marble run, and a straws-and-connectors set. Even though I don't have the same setup as you, I do like having special Pesach toys.
I would consider getting a set like Kapla, and maybe a Mitzvah Kinder set with furniture (right now we have only mentchies).
