Hello Everyone,
Yael just informed me that the Kollel Life Forum has been created, and that I will be the moderator of it. It is a closed forum that is open to anyone whose husband learns in a kollel most of the day, or does similar kodesh work for little or no pay. Examples of this could be someone who spends the majority of the day giving shiurim, learning outside of a formal kollel setting (with chavrusas or on his own), writing sefarim, doing kiruv, etc.
The purpose of the forum is to give kollel wives the opportunity to discuss issues that pertain to them with others who can relate to them and respond appropriately. Examples of these topics might include our feelings about our husbands learning, financial issues, whether our husbands should continue learning, chizuk, etc.
This forum is open to all Kollel wives regardless of hashkafa, and is open to both short and long-term learning families.

As of now, I am posting the requirements and letting people decide for themselves if they fit. I don't want to be in the position of determining which kodesh postions are too high-paying to qualify.
If this turns out to be a problem, I will make an official policy.
