Dh bought gefilte fish over 24 hours and it's been sitting in the fridge Sad

Can I still boil it, will it be okay?

I would bake it in a loaf pan (without the paper!). If you try to boil it now it won't hold its shape. If you've never tried baking gefilte fish before, try it! My family actually likes it better baked than boiled. I usually bake it with some tomato sauce or teriyaki sauce to give it flavor, but if you don't have anything like that on hand you can also drizzle some olive oil and spices.

You can make fishballs. Try to substitute the crumbs with potato starch or mazza (if you eat gebrokts) and fry them in oil. Add an egg and a bit of pepper, let mixture sit for half hour or so in fridge. Fry a couple of balls at a time.

OP, you can boil them on the stove in the mixture you normally use for a gefilte fish loaf. Form the fish into balls and put them in the pot as soon as the water starts boiling. I've done this before and it was a big hit.
