Please give me ideas of where you have been and your experience.
I can look on Google but I would love to hear from personal experience of a good indoor playground for kids. I have a 1 year old and a 4 year old.

At that age I would just go to kids n action u don’t. Red a huge place. The new place on 5th ave is massive but really expensive

I personally wouldn't recommend Kids N Action for kids under 6
The toddler area is too small for the 4 year old and the main climbing/sliding attraction too overwhelming.

kids empire is fantastic for these ages, we've gone multiple times and my kids love to go back.
There are multiple locations, the closest to NYC is Linden but there are multiple close locations
