1k (maybe more this year) all ages colony daycamp. $1500 for boys in a camp but that’s worth it because it’s tons of hours.

Our colony charges $1,250. There is a $100 early bird discount if paid up now. The oldest bunk costs $100 more.

Wow I thought 1,000 a summer I paid is a lot. Expect to pay 1k or more more in non chasidish or summer home places. Cheap small colonies with unprofessional daycamp will be less.

I always thought day camp in the bungalow colony was so much cheaper than in nyc. The prices quoted are not much more than I paid in 5 towns when we lived in ny (yes a while back). Now I live in a large oot community and the prices for regular day camp is significantly cheaper for backyard camps and comparable for big day camps and only slightly less for specialty camps (travel, arts, etc)

This is in a pretty dumpy chassidish colony with rentals, not summer homes. It is very expensive. It does include lunch twice a week, and this year they included a lifeguard that will watch the kids 3 hours fri/Sunday and every day right after daycamp for 2 hours.
I find the daycamp is decent, tho not for the youngest ages.
