Does anyone know why my salt is so so so bland?
We use kosher salt and grind it but it’s so bland. I had some plain and it barely tastes like salt. Others tried the salt plain as well and same results it’s super bland.
Can it be because we have it for 3 pesachs? It was put away very well.

Are you sick? Pregnant? Maybe your taste is off.

Which brand and why are you grinding it? Kosher salt is already flaked and great the way it is.

Not sure. It’s in an airtight container from when we got it.

Never heard of this. Maybe the salt is adulterated with some other soluble white crystalline material. Hard to imagine, though, as salt is cheap and not worth adulterating.
