I think it depends what camp and what age…some ideas nike sneakers, fame T-shirt’s (they have a website with a teen line), Midi panelled flairy skirts, look on fame website should give you ideas of clothing.

Why is she trying so hard?
If its social skills related, try getting her social skill help.

Thank you! Anything else besides for clothing wise. Like extras.

Depends on what age, what “type” you are, and what camp. Do you know mothers whose girls went last year? I would call them and ask. Hatzlocha, I hope she has an amazing summer!

I still can't believe Michelle watches are so popular with teens. They are so expensive (and yes I know you can get cheaper ones at outlet stores, but still!)

Sneakers could also be Veja or golden goose
Ponies or scrunchies from alo or lulu lemon
My daughter says also cute earrings that you share. Like popsicles or frogs etc.
Bringing snacks to share like tradition soup, pickles etc.

My girls go to Bnos and this is what they said.

I truly believe in trying to fit in especially for a child who is lacking self confidence but HOW are WE creating a reality that to fit in you need to wear 500 dollar golden goose sneakers? WE are doing this. Just as your child wants to fit in so are others who can not spend half a thousand dollars on sneakers. This is crazy. Camp is suppossed to be a fun happy place not an insane fashion show. Adding on these expensive watches etc is just ridiculous and WE have the power to put an end to this.

Why would anyone lug all this expensive stuff davka to camp?

Stuff gets lost/dirty when you are living in rustic shared accommodations.

I would think it more sensible to leave pricey items at home.

My kids in bnos want the snacks and fun stuff but don’t even know about these sneakers. So they are for sure not a must.

Also we had a cheap watch stolen I would not send expensive watches and jewelry

My girls go to Ma’arava and don’t take expensive stuff. They want the shirts, skirts socks and shoes that everyone wears, but nothing fancy, and nothing expensive.

Depending on what size your daughter is, I was able to get kids’ golden goose sneakers for my daughter for less than $200

Why in the world would you send close to $200 sneakers to camp? It's sneakers! And this is coming from someone who brought my Tiffany jewelry to camp but the sneakers seem extensive lol
