I believe Sheva Brand is Sina Mizrachi. Hence Sina’s cookbook is likely what she was referring to.

I rarely read ami, but I always find her 'Mr. brand and I" to be humorous. (she doesn't say my husband')

When you referring to Mr Brand and I. That’s Sheva Brand who writes for Binah. And no. Her real name is not Sheva Brand. And I do know she wrote a novel. But not sure which one. And under what name. I can probably find out.

This makes no sense they have very different personalities and backgrounds etc and write for 2 diff magazines. I know Shevas a made up name but she’s most definitely NOT Sina

Chani Kurtz was my teacher in high school 
I cannot imagine her being sheva brand!! Doesnt seem her style writing at all
