The pattern seems to be that most dhs will simply take the pile of laundry and stick it somewhere else. OP, consider yourself blessed that your dh is so aware.

Haha I've been doing this since forever, and BH it works here as well!
He usually does it earlier, like 6ish when he's helping me with baths etc anyway in preparation for his bed to be clear. But really he just wants to help me out. BH

Same. And then it accidentally get knocked to the floor half the time because he didn't realize it was there. And then he wonders why he can't find his clean laundry.

Made me laugh! Lol. I love him but yeah, if I dumped the laundry on his bed he would totally just dump the pile on the floor
He'd do other stuff like wash the dishes or pack away the toys if I asked him but he's never folded a load of laundry

And mine doesn't touch the dishes. They all have their preferences! As if we get to chose 😆 he'll also help me prepare them lunches for school.

I'm liking this thread but just thinking imagine op would have set a more serious tone and had it under "serious problems in a marriage" how many posters would chime in "divorce", "therapy ", " marriage counselling today!"

Na. He'll just sleep on top of everthing....
Tried and tested. And he didn't have a clue!
I move it to the side if I'm too tired. Bh that my bed is big enough for me and the laundry!

His bed is the nearest to the washing machine and we have no spare bedrooms. We have spare beds but they're in my kids rooms. So, no it's not passive aggressive! It's what works for us. I also fold it most of the time, but on his bed. He doesn't mind, he's usually out in work still when I do it. It's if I don't manage, and he sees it's still there , then he'll do it to help me out.

For everyone saying he has no clue, he never did, he never would, etc. I once had an emergency where I was with a child in the hospital for a few days. And guess what? All the no clues, he never did, he never would ended up getting done. He asked the kids for help, but he managed it all, bh. I think they teach them in chosson classes to play dumb. Lol
