I got this recently and love it.
You can set go to sleep time, wake up time and how long before wake up time you want it to turn orange.
It also has a function to set a nap time red light.

We got this one (or a very similar one) almost 10 years ago, it is still going strong. You can set the time it will turn green automatically every morning. It also has a separate nap timer.

Have this one for years and love it
My kids think its G-d. When it turns red they run to sleep.

We loved it! Totally saved our lives. You can set it for when it should turn green. Excellent for even very young kids, I think my daughter was 2.5 when we got it.
