Iyh going to ey this summer for my sons bar mitzvah.

Was planning on keeping it simple and doing leining at the kotel and go out to dinner at a restaurant.
But now I’m realizing that we have a bunch of family and friends and I’d really like to host a small nice party. My rental has a big enough space to host probably about 30 people but there’s no way I can do the cooking and table and chair rentals and paper goods etc…
Who can I hire that is relatively inexpensive but will do a beautiful job (I don’t need fancy flowers etc…)? Someone to take care of paper goods and set up table and chairs?

Where can I get food from? Buffet style food. Yum and delicious and the top top hechshers
(I know I can ask party planner but if that’s too expensive maybe I’ll figure it out myself but I’ll need to order the food!)

If it were me, I'd contact a restaurant that has a party room and do a party there. Seems way easier than navigating hosting in a rental. Restaurants tend to have pretty reasonably priced party menus.

I agree it's easier (and probably the same price) as making it in a restaurant. Ricotta has an event room and has a good hechsher as well as muscat

What area are you staying in? Probably best to look for a party planner or food nearest there...

Holy Bagel provides catering and also set up etc. They have much more than just bagels, plenty of hot dishes. Not too expensive.

Dairy is always cheaper and it can be lunch or brunch instead of evening.

You can do Waffle Bar on Paran. They have a nice menu for Simchos.

I’ve never been to waffle bar. Do they cater? Or at least provide food in big tins as opposed to individual portions?

Yes, they cater and serve table portions

They are near where you are staying in Israel.

Why not? Please explain… if I’m just ordering the food, is there a gemach for tables chairs and table clothes? That’s all I need
And a restaurant I’d need to rent out the space too
