DD needs new suit - wont wear it without something on top of it, but needs good support (36G). Any recommendations?

I don't have any specific recommendations, but look for swimwear that comes in bra sizing, and I'd recommend a tankini over a one piece, because a one piece has to be a very precise fit and if it doesn't fit the torso, it shifts the chest area out of place and ruins the support. (You can get an ultra high waist bottom for full coverage even if the top shifts.)

I get a bikini top to wear under any swimsuit. It gives me the support I need and some styles give more coverage.
Use a seam ripper to remove extra bows and whatnot so you won't have bulges under your regular swimsuit.

Speedo do some underwired swimsuits I tried one on and was great, I ended up going with a different brand Bravissimo, not sure if it's available in USA

I wear a full coverage sports bra with swim shorts. Works great.

If the sports bra is made from regular athletic fabric, it's often the same thing as swimwear fabric, so this is a really good idea. But if something isn't sold as swimwear you do have to double check that the dye is swim safe.

True point! So far this has been fine.
