Yes! I like that name Smile .

I also think Avigayil and Avishag are gorgeous names that don't get used often enough.

Avigayil is very popular.
Avishag? Not so much. I don't think it's easy to tell if that's a male or female name. (I know where it's from but others aren't as learned.)

Bnos Tzelfchad are:
Noa, Tirtza, Milca - common enough, nice enough
Machla -I know a few but it sounds like the word "machala" (illness)
Chogla - never heard it, hate the way it sounds.

Yehosheva is one of the 23 women listed by Midrash as tzaddikot. Unfortunately, I can't find the list. Maybe someone else can?

For sephardim, and not biblical: Sol / Solika (particular Moroccan name). I actually visited the grave of Sol Hatzadeket. My daughter is named after an aunt named Sol, herself named after Sol Hatzadeket.

Who was your personal heroine Yalsa?
Is that a biblical name or is it someone from our history?
It’s a pretty name I never heard it.

(Note that in Hebrew, her name is pronounced "Yalta" - yud, lamed, tav, aleph. She was the wife of Rabbi Nachman in the Gemara.)

Most "famous" story about her:

https://www.chabad.org/theJewi.....e.htm

There is/was a wine in Israel called Yalta, which I appreciated!

Chogla - it's uncommon nowadays (was more popular in the 40s and 50s). It also means a partridge in Hebrew.

Aside from being tzadkaniyos, the names of the Bnos Tzelafchad are related to movement/grace.

Noa - לנוע la-nuah - to move
Tirtza - לרוץ la-rutz - to run
Milca - ללכת la-leches - to walk
Machla - מחול makhol - dance (choreographed, for stage/audience)
Chogla - לחוג la'choog - to form a circle (the same root/shoresh is used for other circle-related words such as "radius" and "hands of a clock")

It's virtuous to want to name after a righteous woman (Tzaddekes), but it's also wise to consider the burden that your daughter might carry having a "too unique" name, obvs. Queen

Jews in Italy use Hogla and Hulda.

A very strong name, though I decided it was a bit strong for me: Yirat/Yiras

I thought Milka was like Malka!! Tirzah here is said https://www.behindthename.com/name/tirzah

I've found a very rare name on archives in Poland: Machel, Maches, Machisia

I love Yocheved. I made a neder to name Yocheved if I had a girl from lighting for a certain rebbetzin.
