I just got 2 new metal cookie sheets. I know I do need to toivel them, but my question is whether until I can get them to the mikvah I can use them if I cover them with foil or parchment each time? I really need to keep baking for my dd's bas mitzvah party, and with snow and freezing rain falling here I'm not making it to the mikvah for a while.

if (as you suggested) you cover them w/ foil or parchment, then you can use the baking sheets w/o toiveling them first.

Ask your rav. (isn't that what the standard answer on this forum is?)
