My teenage daughter is finding it hard to keep tznius. I feel that if I can offer her trendy, nice clothes that are tznius, she will be more willing to dress tzniusly. Any suggestions? We don't have such a huge budget, but I don't mind spending a bit, the alternative is far worse.

Are you looking for tops or bottoms in particular?

www.funkyfrum.com

It also works to go to outlet malls or outlet stores of popular designer names (tommy hilfiger, old navy, etc) where you can find long sleeve "cool" tops for a fraction of the original price.

All of my clothing comes from normal stores, and I do tend to range pretty far for good clothes.

I bought a whole bunch of these to wear under other, lower cut shirt. So a lot of my tops are more trendy styles; I just fill in the neckline.

Skirts are more difficult; I've gotten a few on Ebay. Is your daughter crafty? If so, she might find it fun to learn to sew her own clothes.

Layering is what I generally do if I want to be tznius, it's easy to get high necked basic short or long sleeved tees..... which can be combined with almost everything.

A simple long sleeved plain tee in cute color can be very stylish with a knee length denim skirt.

This is my favorite place. http://www.kaylasblessing.com/ They have a brick and mortar store in Chicago and sell on-line. The quality is good and they have a great selection of funky denim skirts.

Although this is not specifically for teens, www.newport-news.com has some great tznius stuff. I've bought a few cute long jean skirts (as well as other stuff) from their website at much cheaper prices than a frum store. If you catch it at the right time, their clearance section can be fabulous!

I would recommend American Eagle for cute hoodies, s/s layering tops, and sweaters. I like AE because they run a lot of sales and have an outlet section.

For bottoms, I would recommend Junee's!

Both places have great pieces that go well with the Aeropostale gear.

Hi. Any new suggestions?? My daughter is tall and thin. We're specifically looking for shirts that don't require a shell. Something lightweight for the summer.
Thanks!
