Says my 3 yr old.
Me: "Do you mean cheese?"
Him: "No, I only want one."
LOL, never thought of it that way!

You know, the one with the smirky smile and sparkling blue eyes, same as your little one.

At least she's trying to be gramatically (sp?) correct, unfortunately the english language is full of inconsistencies. She sounds very cute and sincere. May you have much nachas!

Reminds me of this story:
My daughter was about 3 and I was talking to her about plurals. I explained that if you have one mouse and another mouse, you have 2 mice. Then I asked her, "If you have one dog and another dog, what do you have?" She promptly answered, "Mice dog!"

OP, your son is smart & cute!
Anonymom, wasn't your question kind of leading your daughter to say that the plural of dog is dice? Mice dog is more creative, though! I really love how kids' minds work.

Really, I thought she was smart enough to say dogs, and I just wanted to point out that mice is an exception to the rule

Yeah, makes sense. (Your post, I mean, not the English language!)
