I ordered Flanken from the store but they brought me short ribs instead. They look the same. Are they the same or at least similar?
PS. I am using it in my chulent.

They are about the same thing, and both will make excellent cholent meat. Enjoy.

Flanken IS actually short ribs, cut across.
