Mid to late 20s. One baby. No tuition. No house. About $30k in savings towards "rainy day" and eventual down payment. Oh, and it's only one income. DH graduates soon and we'll have about 100k combined in student loans which we'll hopefully be paying off in about a year or two once we have two incomes. Then we can hopefully start saving for retirement.

Early 30s. 1 tuition 6k, more coming next year. Two incomes, Dh full-time, me part-time. No house, no savings.
About 20k student loan debt. About 20k credit card debt.
I don't know how we'll ever be able to buy a house.
