I cut a hot red pepper this evening and the oils are stuck on my skin and burning. I am a mess. I got it in my eye, umm ouch. I tried soaking my hand in milk but that didn't help as well as washing a million times!!
Any suggestions asap???

Oh my, Maybe ice never had that. I hope its not dangerous for your eyes. Maybe call hatzala and ask.

You need binding molecules. Capsicum/capsation (the component that makes peppers and chiles hot) bonds with fat. Rub lotion, yogurt, cream, or butter on your hands to bind the capsicum/capsation and then use soap to wash it all away.
Lemon juice, to neutralize it, then Dove soap and lotion.

JUST last night someone told me that she had a similar incident and was told to smear oil all over her hands, as it binds it. Then she should wash it with lots of sudsy soapy water. It worked well after she tried everything.

in addition to milk/ yogurt, take 3 painkillers (aleve or whatever) and/or nyquil and sleep it off- it happened to me but it was better the next day
