I have just started solids with my 6 month old. She is refusing rice cereal and any pureed food on a spoon. So I have tried to see how she will respond to finger food. She loves rice cakes so far. Any one have any other ideas? TIA

rice cakes are pretty much emply calories, but you have to start somewhere.
Try:
cheerios
gerber puffs (target makes them too, and most are kosher & they're cheaper than gerber)
cooked, diced veggies (carrots, butternut squash, yellow squash, green squash,...)
peeled, cut up ,cooked fruits (apples, pears, plums, peaches,...)
bits of banana
rice
cut up macaroni
Bits of cheese, when you start to give dairy
