I just got a few bikes by Toyland on twelve ave in bp. They assembled it and delivered it to my house. I like to support the jewish stores over the big toy stores if I can.

Bump - I'm looking to get a bike for my son's 9th birthday in a few weeks, but this thread is almost 7 years old. We got his last bike at Weber's, and have been happy with it, but I have no idea how their prices compare to Toys R Us, Walmart, and Target, or any other local bike store. On the other hand, it doesn't help me to save money and get a cheaper bike if it's not well-made and will keep breaking down. Any recent experiences and recommendations?

We recently bought 2 bikes on Craigslist and we're veryhappy. You can get gently used excellent quality bikes for much cheaper. We looked for giant brand bikes bc they're known for quality.
