Anyone ever hear of a baby who absolutely refuses to nap one day and then sleeps through the next?? DS is 5 months old now and has been doing this since birth -- I work from home and it drives me nuts not knowing on a given day whether I'll be productive or in my rocking chair all day!! He's not necessarily cranky on those awake days, just always wants to be held (and I've tried doing things while wearing him, but he doesn't let me!) WTD?

I really sympathise with you. My baby never naps. I'm serious. He has never slept longer than 30 mins since he was born. As soon as I put him down he cries. If by mistake he does fall asleep for his mingy 20 minutes, I race around the house doing all that needs to be done. I've given up! If the house is a mess it's a mess!
Sorry I have no advice.
