Did anyone do their degree either Bachelors or Masters by correspondence?
If so, in what did you do it in?
Do you recommend it?

my mother is taking her master's in education thru correspondence and some she has actual classes. she likes it very much b/c she works and wouldn't have time to sit thru the classes,. she has times when her teachers are online and she can talk to them thru a form like this or she can e-mail. she has books to read as well.

My friend did her BA thru correspondence. And she was able to work the same time. Did it thru Thomas Edison.

If you're either american based (or in England) I'd suggest being in touch with Raizel Reit (Testing & Training International) as she knows the system cold.

I got my BA through my sem credits and a lot of testing and correspondence work. I would definitely reccomend the correspondence/online route rather than the emphasis on testing. Also, I myself am in a MSW program at a "regular" and in fact competitive school and have many friends who have gone on to get their masters in speech path (among other things) with degrees from Thomas Edison. Many more schools are opening online programs. Drexel University which has a VERY decent reputation just started such a program with many options.

good luck.

I'm actually enrolled in an online college based in Denver, Westwood College, and I live in Brooklyn. It's accredited, so it's accepted everywhere pretty much. I have some people in my class that are in different countries. If you need any more info about the college, let me know.
