Baked or grilled chicken with BBQ glaze
chicken, any kind
1/3 cup bbq or other sauce, we used Hoisen and it was fine
1 T honey
1/4 cup mayo; I used low fat since it's so much fun to use the squirt bottle
2 cloves garlic, crushed; we used powdered garlic
2 tsp fresh ginger, grated; we used dried
I used thighs & the skin was party coming off anyway, so I took the skin off completely and placed them in a baking pan since our gas grill needs a refill.
You could mix everything in a bowl and then smooth it onto the chicken nicely, but I just squished & threw on it, then baked it. Alternatively, you could marinate it for three hours or overnight.
Bake or gill until done. Eat hot. mmmmmmmmmmm

Sounds yummy! I'm obsessed with chicken recipes - I can't handle making the same one too often, this is my "variety" when I cook for Shabbos. So guess which new recipe I'll be using this week?

That does sound delish. Do you think teriyaki sauce instead of barbecue would work also?

Do you bake this covered or uncovered?
