At 1:00 erev Shabbos DH found out he was not going to be allowed to leave on time, which meant that he most likely would not be able to finish packing up our apartment by 5:00 (as per the moving instructions from the landlord). Hearing our need, no less than three couples (one who was not feeling well) came over and packed it for us (sweeping and everything). B"H everything got done, and one person even came back at 7:30 erev Shabbos to help DH install our A/Cs. It was really amazing!!
I hope you feel better soon, dGirl. Threads like this are great, and I hope it helps in picking up your spirits. |

My dd jumped out of the car today after day camp and made a mad dash for the door.
I asked her what the hurry was about.
She said she wanted to do the conversation. You know, the one on the door. With the numbers.

My dd's uncle (they are a year apart, she's one and he's 2!) went over to her, pinched her arm and said "sorry about that"!!!

My African violet is finally blooming two years after a traumatic episode. I got a seat on the bus every day this week. I tripped while holding scissors in my hand and didn't stab myself. I found a recipe that made use of some veggies I had that would have been compost in another day or two. The dishes I dropped last night didn't break.

I'm beginning to see that Hash-m knows best, that daas Torah is to be trusted, and that we sometimes have to just be followers in HKB"H's plan, even if we feel that the world is falling apart. Baruch Hash-m I can see that.
