Still life photos?

Any women here do still-life photos for a living? Any frum websites for good still-life images? I'm sick of istock, shutterstock and the likes-- the Jewish photos there are used and overused.

There's also OtzarStock.com (Israeli), CanStockPhoto (a different Jewish collection), and JewishStockPhotos.com.

Thanks. I checked out the Otzar site and Jewish stock- but neither is very extensive. What is canstockphoto's site? It's not opening as is.

I have also had success in posting specific photo requests on iStock - this forum: http://www.istockphoto.com/for.....age=1 but you need to have time.

now I got into canstock but it's not an exclusively frum site. I'm looking for more frum sites

CanStock may not be a frum site, but it has a pretty decent collection of Jewish images that aren't on the big ones (iStock, Dreamstime, etc.)

There really aren't any big Jewish, let alone frum, stock sites. I don't think there's a big enough market to support it, honestly. Otzar is the biggest I've found. And for specific requests, the iStockPhoto forums can't be beat.

Of course, if you can afford it, there's always GettyImages or hiring your own photographer!

My husband is forever scouting the web for better Jewish photos of:

1) frum scenes without the non Jewish photographer look (y'know the shulchan aruch near the apple n honey... matzoh but there's a bagel in the background somewhere...) it's frustrating to always need to do clean up on these shots. He'd also love some heimishe pics of kosher kitchen, household stuff, leichter...

2) People-- not the newspaper look but the shutterstock look of candid shots of Jewish kids swinging from monkey bar, going on a bus, playing with a new sibling....they are in ABUNDANCE in the secular world and just don't seem to exist in frum form-- or exist in very bad quality.

The biggest problem with "frum kids" pictures is that you need a model release - and what if a non-Jewish school chooses to use the picture of little Shprintzie on the monkey bars? Are you going to want YOUR child advertising for S. Nudnik Middle School?
